The Freedom Rides, like many other campaigns during the Civil Rights Movement, were largely composed of masses of ordinary Americans who contributed to the successful integration of Interstate Facilities throughout the United States. More than 436 Freedom Riders have been documented as participating in the Freedom Rides. However, there are many more stories of individuals who witnessed the these events - attacks, arrests, etc.

Your story is very important to documenting the complete history of the Freedom Rides. In addition to your story, copies of any pictures, newspaper articles, magazine articles, personal journals or any other materials you have that would help tell the story of the Freedom Rides are also welcomed.
